Warehouse Marketplaces & Forecasting China to 2nd Warehouse

If you need to turn off marketplaces for one warehouse because that warehouse does not service a particular marketplace, you can do it by editing the vendor on the Vendor Page.

Warehouse to Warehouse Transfers (Forecasting)

If you are storing inventory in China (or any other country that cannot transfer to Amazon FBA) but you plan on transferring this inventory from China to your 3PL to then drip-feed into Amazon (warehouse to warehouse transfers) this video will show you a workaround to expedite this more complex workflow.

  1. Assign your supplier as a warehouse

  2. Turn off marketplaces for that warehouse and save (this will prevent the forecast from recommending transfers to FBA from this warehouse)

  3. When your 3PL that feeds FBA runs out of inventory, the forecast will tell you to order more inventory. But first go check your Warehouse Levens Dashboard from your Inventory Page:

  1. Create a Work Order from the China warehouse to the 2nd warehouse (3PL that feeds FBA)

  2. Once the forecasts recalculates you may still need to order more new inventory (PO) or based on the transfer time and inventory needs the order recommendations may have changed. If you still need to order more inventory from the supplier, now finally place a new PO.
