How to Stop Tracking FBA Shipments (Missing Inbound Inventory)
You may find form time to time that Amazon FBA does not close an inbound FBA shipment due to missing inventory, but they have not yet counted the inventory as "missing", pending an investigation. When this happens, the portion of the inbound inventory that is missing will still be counted as "Inbound" on your SoStocked forecast until such time as Amazon closes the FBA shipment. If you do not want to count this inventory as inbound, you can "Stop Tracking" the FBA shipment, and then close the SoStocked order (PO or Work Order/WO). This will effectively disconnect the FBA shipment from the PO/WO and will unreconcile it.
NOTE: You MUST manually close the SoStocked order (PO/WO) after you have Stopped Tracking the FBA shipment, so that your PO/WO is no longer showing inbound inventory, so this is a two-part process.
STEPS:
- Start on your AMZ Shipments page.
- Find your FBA or AWD shipment by searching the shipment ID.
- Find the reconciled PO or WO and open it in another tab. You can skip this step if you have "One-time Reconcile" shipments and you are bypassing the PO/WO system.
- From the left side menu, click "Stop Tracking" and confirm.
- Go to your PO/WO, copy the shipment ID. Then search for it on the PO or WO page.
- From the left side menu, click "Close PO/WO" and select "Mark all units as Received".
