How to Handle No Velocity (Missing) or Snoozed Forecasts

There are circumstances when forecasts cannot be created and thus your products will not have any recommendations for orders or transfers. Two common reasons for no forecasts are:

Zero velocity. When there are no sales in the last 180 days or very low sales (less than 0.01/day) the algorithm cannot calculate what your future sales will be, and thus cannot create an inventory timeline. This leaves you with a "No forecast".

Snoozed forecasts. Many sellers will use the snooze feature for seasonal products, or low-sellers that they are trying to liquidate. These snoozed forecasts can be forgotten about or lost in the shuffle.

For these reasons, we have created two new default dashboards on your Forecast page to help you monitor these potentially problematic forecasts. This video explains how to use them.
